Getting ready to work on the car after Talladega and was wondering those of you who have changed your wheel studs, (John, Darryl) if you removed your hubs to do it? Thanks for any help.

LOL at Chas!
Walley My rears taped out with a hammer, quick and simple. The fronts may have as well but it was so easy to just pull them that I did.

Was thinking, why not drill a hole in the dust shield for the studs. That way if you needed to do emergency surgery at the track it would be simple and quick. anybody have any negatives on that?
John your not going to give up your technique? |

For the rears I used a hammer to mash the dust shield out of the way I didn't notice how much was in the way in the front but yes I would drill a hole if there is room for it.

the rules permit total removal of the dust shields I believe in SP. That is what I would do unless I was trying to preserve some semblence of stock(which I have finally let go of).
